Bridgehampton Village is rooted in history, and the architecture along the main street has been telling a story for generations. This 3,621 square foot historic home sits at the heart of that village, and Marie-Christine Design was tasked with transforming it into a weekend and summer retreat that could honor the past and work in the present for a modern New York City family.
The approach was warm and personal. Rather than imposing a design language, the aesthetic was developed to live in harmony with the home’s existing character.
